Our History
After Lord Baden-Powell started the Scout Movement in 1907, only twenty years later our Group was born. The 1st Fleet Scout Troop opened in 1910, but it closed during WWI. It restarted briefly and closed again in 1920.
On 31st March 1927 the first ever meeting of the 2nd Fleet Troop took place led by Ron Ruffle. In 1977 he explained that our blue and green necker was chosen as for the first few months the blue sky was the roof of our meeting place, and the green grass the floor.
In July 1934 we transferred from the Aldershot District into the Odiham District and became the 22nd Odiham (Fleet) Group.

Uniforms these may be purchased online from ScoutShops
or locally from the Odiham District Scout Shop in Crondall.
